It’s been a busy fall and we appreciate that you’re very focused on driving revenue for your year-end goals. With that in mind, our product and engineering teams have been working hard to make things a little easier with a number of enhancements in our “Customer Love” release. These enhancements are designed to help you more easily manage your Engagio instance and find the critical account insights you need.
Data Synchronization Visibility & Management
Data Sync Controls
Admin users now have the ability to control the schedule for regular sync jobs with their CRM and marketing automation systems. Available from Engagio-Wide Settings, admin users can now define the sync schedule, controlling when and how often it runs without having to call Engagio to make the change.
Data Sync Status
We’ve made it easier to verify Engagio sync status and troubleshoot any issues — just go to the new Sync Status admin page to see when each system last successfully synced.
User Management Enhancements
Bulk User Import from Salesforce
Admins can now bulk create Engagio users by simply selecting those from the list of Salesforce users. This feature is available from Engagio-Wide Settings.
Reset Password – coming soon!
It’s easy to lose track of passwords. Soon, individual users can reset their password directly from the login screen without needing to contact Engagio for help.
Email Authorized Status
The User Admin page displays an “Email Authorized” status indicating whether a user can send an email with PlayMaker and log inbound emails. In the past, when a customer’s Exchange or Google Access Token becomes invalidated for whatever reason (change password, etc.) – this table was not updated. Now, this table will update to reflect the current email authorization status by user. This will enable admins to more easily troubleshoot email issues.

Searchable Admin Settings
Over time we’ve added more capabilities into our Admin section. With more than 30 admin configuration pages, it can be hard to find the right page for the task at hand. So we’ve added a search at the top of the navigation pane to help you easily find the admin capability you are looking for.
Many customers have accounts with the exact same (or similar) name, and it’s difficult to identify the desired account in Engagio. It’s now possible to assign a metric, such as engagement minutes, to display next to each account (similar to a badge icon) to make it easier to know which one to choose. This feature is available automatically to all users with the default metric of Engagement Minutes (3 months).
You can configure the desired metric through the account search drop down. This can be accessed and configured at either the user or company level via the profile or company info screens respectively.
Clear Previously Applied Filter
We’ve heard from users that they sometimes get confused when there appears to be no data in a chart in Analytics. This can occur when a filter for alternative conditions has been applied. For example, if you were looking for Engagement for Tier 2 accounts and the Heatmap has been previously filtered for Tier 1 accounts, you would see “No data to show.” Engagio now highlights that a filter has been applied and provide users the option to “Clear Filter.”
Auto Create Account Lists based on Custom SFDC Fields
Engagio can now create Account Lists automatically based on Salesforce fields. For example, each ADR could have an Account List with their assigned accounts created automatically based off that specific field in Salesforce.
Single Account Sidebar Usability
The usefulness of the single account sidebar has been improved by ensuring that important account specific information is viewable at first glance. This redesigned format collapses standard information so that engagement insights are in the top part of the sidebar.
For PlayMaker customers, the “Run Play” buttons were both hard to find and not available from all sidebar panel views. The button is now shown in a consistent place in the sidebar to improve accessibility of the Run Play capabilities. Here are 3 of the 6 panels views, as examples.
Visual Enhancements – coming soon!
Based on feedback from many of you, we have enhanced the visual distinction between the navigation bar on the left, the main workspace in the center and the sidebar on the right. Although subtle, we expect these changes will make it easier to navigate within Engagio. We anticipate these changes to be rolled out to all users by the last week of October.
Dash Tracking & Layouts
As a native Salesforce.com app, Dash does a lot of work inside of your Salesforce org. We’ve learned that as an admin of Dash it’s very helpful to be able to monitor what specifically Dash is doing in Salesforce – from creating new records and to updating existing data.
With the new Dash Admin Dashboard, we’re providing more visibility into advanced technical processes that make Dash work in the background – and allow Salesforce admins to fine tune the configuration to optimize it for their org.
New Dash Configuration Layout
Dash configuration settings live inside of Salesforce and with all of the new Salesforce Lightning improvements, we’ve refreshed the layout of the Dash Configuration screen. This updated layout lists all the settings on the same page removing the need to switch tabs to the Related records. You can now also view Account Funnel transition data directly on the configuration page — giving you instant visibility into the health of your dataset.
